The official opening was not just a great parish event or a diocesan one but a truly national occasion. See link below to RTE archive recording of the ceremony. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In two years time, we will mark the 50th Anniversary of the re-opening. A meeting to discuss plans for this event will be held in Holycross Abbey on Wednesday next 11th October at 8pm.
