It’s Market week again in the Village and its turning all things festive here as we roll out our November and December markets.
Following on from a very successful Pumpkin Fest we are excited about the weeks to come. A huge thank you to everyone who supported our Samhain celebrations and equal thank you to all who helped make it a market to remember.
The winner of the Adult Conker Championship was Avril Kennedy with runner up Grace Ryan. The junior prize went to George Hartigan-Hogan with runner up Callum Gleeson.. congratulations and we’ll done to all who took part…thanks to Philip Quinn and family for yet again pulling out all the stops with such an authentic set-up. The winners were presented with hand crafted trophies turned by Muiris O Cleirigh, thank you Muiris.The winner of the Puppet specially made for the market by Ruadhan Gormally was Emily O Meara.Thank you to all the children who came to trick or treat in very creative costumes
