John Ryan (Larry) born in Borrisoleigh in 1936. Moved shortly afterwards to Liscrea, The Ragg, in the parish of Drom and Inch. john lived most of his life in Dublin in Balally Sandyfort area where among other things he was responsible for the founding of the Naomh Olaf’s GAA club. John was always interested in old machinery and little wonder he was a member of the Vintage society. In 2003 he and his wife Maura moved to Holycross to Abbot Cresent. On Thursday morning last may 31st John was called to his eternal reward.
To his wife Maura, his daughter Siobhan, Sons Eoin, Michéal and Tadhg, his extended family we offer our sincerest sympathy. May he rest in Peace.
