Cornelius O’Keeffe was born in Moyaliffe on the 21st Oct. 1917. He worked in the Irish Sugar Company and Killough travelling as far as Carlow as part of his work. He married Freddie O’Connor, of Leugh, in 1953. He retired from work in 1982. Connie’s funeral took place in the Abbey and was interred in the adjoining cemetery. We sympathise with his wife Freddie, his three daughters; Margaret, Kathleen and Freda, and his son John.
