Eddie Lacey was born on 29th of May, 1948 and resided at Friar Street, Thurles until his marriage to Diane (Nee Carey) in 1977 when they moved to Killeenyarda, Holycross. He ran his family business ‘Lacey’s Butchers’, Thurles, all his life and right up to his untimely death on 18th Nov. 2013. He is deeply missed and fondly remembered by his wife Diane, daughters Jacqueline and Breda, son John, Sons-in-law and grandson John Edward.
