Holycross Abbey was again in the news this week with figures indicating that it is in the top ten of visitor attractions in the Free-To-Enter catagory. With figures indicating that over 240,000 people visit the Abbey each year it is ahead of the National Gallery of Ireland and Dublin City Gallery, The Hugh Lane. While not yet half way through our tourist season we are hoping for an improvement in the weather which might in turn encourage the numbers some more. Our pictures show some tourists from Germany enjoying a tour of the Abbey during the week.
