Josephine Ryan, know as Jo, was born on the 15th June, 1929 in Cormackstown, Holycross where she spent her entire life up to the time of her death on the 23rd August, 2013. A daughter of James & Catherine Ryan and predeceased by her sisters Biddy Comerford, Glenreigh and Kitty Stakelum, Ballinahow, and her brother Ned Ryan, Cormackstown. Survived by her sisters to Mary Boilson, Laharden, Two-Mile-Borris, and Sr. Bridget, Little Sisters of the Poor, Antwerp, Belgium.
Jo spent most of her working life with Thurles Creamery, and later at Thurles Co-Operative Mart. May she rest in peace.
