Because of your generous donations, a young family of five from Ukraine have arrived in Holycross, having spent four weeks in a Refugee Camp in Poland. They are really delighted with their new accommodation and are settling in well.
The group who worked on this project are completely overwhelmed by your kindness and support and we can promise you that we will continue to support this family in whatever way they need going forward. We also pledge to use any excess items and funding to support similar projects locally providing homes, help and support for other Ukrainian families.
This project was turned around in record time because of generosity, love, kindness and a will to do something good for these people as their world continues to be torn apart.We continue to hold all Ukrainian people in our hearts and we pray for peace in their country.
