The Government has agreed a National Ceremony of Remembrance and Reflection will take place on 20th March. This will represent an opportunity for the nation to pause and reflect, take time to remember all those who have lost their lives during the pandemic, and pay tribute to everyone who has contributed to how we have faced and are facing the challenges together.
Tipperary County Council has decided to hold an event in Holycross Park on Sunday 20th March at 2:00pm. We would be delighted to welcome the parishioners of Holycross / Ballycahill Parish to this ceremony. As part of this ceremony, it is our intention to hold a reading of the names of those who have passed away during the pandemic. Therefore, we are inviting families to submit the names of loved ones who passed away during the pandemic. These will be read out on the day by frontline workers who played such a key role over the past two years. This list will not be exhaustive and we will only read the names which have been submitted to us. Names can be submitted via the link below:
