The recent Sale of Work was once again a huge success. €15,446.40 was raised for the two parish schools and two parish Community Centres. At a meeting held on Monday 2nd of December by the committee it was agreed to donate €446.40 to the local branch of St. Vincent de Paul. The remainder was divided equally to St. Michael’s National School, Ballycahill National School, to Ballycahill Community Centre and to St. Michael’s Community Centre, Holycross each receiving €3,750.00 each. Once again it was a magnificant response from the parish Community and thanks to all involved.
